Iran Agrofood 2016
Known as the largest and most famous international Food, Food Technology & Agricultural event in the Middle East ever since its first inception in 1994, Iran agrofood is being split from 2006 into three specialized sections. “Iran food and hospitality 2016”, “Iran food and bev tec 2016” and “Iran Agrofood 2016” will be held as three events at the same time, all in dedicated exhibition halls and outdoor grounds at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
The country’s largest trade event for food, food technology and agriculture, has been scheduled for its 23rd edition to be held from 30 May – 02 June 2016 at the Tehran International Fairgrounds in cooperation with “Trade Promotion Organization of Iran”(T.P.O) and “Iran International Exhibitions Co.” (I.I.E.C).
TEHRAN- The 23rd edition of Iran’s international exhibition of agricultural products, foodstuff, machineries, and related industries, known as Iran Agrofood 2016, will start operation at the Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds today, IRIB news reported.
The three-day event, which is the largest and the most famous international food fair in the Middle East ever, will kick off in the presence of Iranian Agriculture Minister Mahmoud Hojjati and some senior officials from the Iranian ministry of industry and ministry of health, as well as some officials from Iranian unions and related communities.
Some 46 countries, including Jordan, Spain, Australia, Austria, Slovakia, South Africa, Britain, Italy, Germany, France, and etc. will take part in the exhibition along with a number of Iranian companies.
As reported, the number of foreign participants shows a 36-percent rise and that of domestic ones registers a 9-percent increase, compared to the last year’s exhibition.
